About Us...
HeriSites is a small one man run business based
in Rushden, Northamptonshire comprising myself Robert Heritage.
For the past 4 years I have been studying the BSc course in
computing at university. During these four years i have learnt
many aspects of computing including the following:
- Systems Analysis
- Database Design
- Human Computer Interaction
- Computer Systems
- Operating Systems
- Programming (Visual Basic.NET, C++)
I have also learnt alot in the field of website
design, creating both static and dynamic pages with HTML, XHTML,
ASP and ASP.NET.
Static vs. Dynamic
In simple terms, static means "fixed" or "stationary",
wheras dynamic means "changing". Anything that only executes
on the client browser is considered
static, for example, the text contained in HTML cannot be manipulated
unless the website's author (me) goes into the source code
and manually changes it. On the other hand a dynamic website's
execution can change depending on what it receives from the
client. One of the most important aspects of dynamic technology
is that it allows you to connect to databases and view and
update the data, all from the client browser. I implement dynamic
websites using both ASP (Active Server Pages) technology, and
ASP.NET which offers more capabilities then ASP using Microsoft's
.NET framework.

I now offer my services to design and build
both static and dynamic websites, and Windows based software
development for clients based in the Northamptonshire area.
The skills gained whilst studying at University means i can
offer professional skills and due to the fact that I am still
