Web Design Overview...
The design of a website comprises the layout
and style of the website including colour schemes etc as well
as the grahic designs incorporated. The design is what attracts
a viewer, its all well and good having the latest features
within your website but if the site is not aesthetically pleasing
then the viewer often becomes bored very quickly. Therefore
at HeriSites we aim to create attractive, functional and user
friendly websites using the latest graphic design technologies.
The Design Process...
As we are making a website to reflect your business then we
need to know all your requirements for the design, after all
it's your site. Therefore we believe in fostering
close working relationships with our clients to ensure that
we create works of extremely high standards, and constantly
achieve total customer satisfaction. With this in mind, we
start the first stage of the design process by meeting with
you and listening to what ideas you may have for your
site.
The Initial meeting wil consist of mainly questions
asked to you by us, for example the type of site required,
colours, size, content. etc. We would also take any images
you may have on disc for example your company logo etc, but
if you do not have any images on disc we can use any document
with your logo incorporated e.g. a letter head, invoice etc.
Questions from you are welcomed and encouraged as we try to
gather as much information as possible at this time. We also
put forward some ideas to help out as a lot of people don't
actually know what they want. This meeting will then allow
us to gain all information and ideas we need to then go away
and start designing your site.
The next stage we take is to put together a
small selection of demo sites using the design ideas gained
from the meeting. Now is the time when you must try to be as
critical as possible, and choose the design
or designs that are most suited to your needs.
You may want to combine ideas from more than one design,
we can do that, no problem.
Then we usually have a second meeting which
would involve taking any photos of the company's premises,
examples of your work, people involved etc which we will then
add to the site. We will then go away and put these photos
into the designs we put together earlier on in the process
and you can then choose your final design. If however you do
not wish to have a second meeting we can use the time within
the initial meeting to take any photos required etc.
Finally once you are happy with the design
we will go ahead and start building the site, keeping you updated
along the way with each stage because once the design is made
its difficult to make changes so therefore if we keep you up
to date we can source problems quickly and then change the
design depending on your requirements. You will then finally
be able to see what the finished product will look like to
the public before it goes live on the internet. At this point
we would then either begin to add development into the pages
if you require a dynamic website or if you require just a static
site we would then sort out the hosting and domain name so
that everything is ready to go live.
You're Sorted...
And that's it your site will be up and running on the net. We

is ok as well as let you know any new solutions or examples that
